Bhutan in October
Crystal-clear skies, ideal hiking, peak month.
October is widely considered the best month to visit Bhutan. Skies are at their clearest, temperatures are mild, and the country is fully open after monsoon. The Jambay Lhakhang Drup in late October — including the famous midnight Mewang fire ceremony — is one of the year's most atmospheric festivals. Book early; this is Bhutan's busiest month.
